The fonds consists of records generated by the Canadian Federation of University Women - Burlington including agenda and minutes, operation of various programs and initiatives, Constitution and Charter, Scrapbooks and Memorabilia.

Scrapbooks and administrative records all pertaining to the formation, history and ongoing operations of the Nelson Women's Institute branch.

Collection predominantly contains oversized scrapbooks compiled by local Aldershot and Nelson branches of the Women's Institute, under the direction of The Federated Women’s Institute of Ontario with a purpose to document village histories. These types of scrapbooks known as Tweedsmuir Histories, were named after the Governor General's wife Lady Tweedsmuir, who encouraged Women’s Institute branches to preserve the history and the changing environments of rural communities. Scrapbooks include newspaper clippings, photographs, letters, maps, as well as handwritten and typed historical accounts. Also included in this collection are administration records for the Nelson Women's Institute.

Accrual consists of materials relating to the Zonta Club of Burlington I and Zonta International, including materials relating to Zonta Club Presidents and club activities. Includes photographs, scrapbooks, newsletters and minutes.
