Collection consists of material collected by W.G. Eakins, newspaper editor, documenting the trials of five individuals accused of bribing members of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario for the purpose of defeating the government of Oliver Mowat. The collection contains Toronto Police Court transcripts, newspaper clipping scrapbooks, reports of the Standing Committee and Royal Commission created to investigate the accusations, and Eakins' notes on their findings.
