History
Wilfrid Laurier University Archives and Special Collections is the repository for historic records of the Wilfrid Laurier University and its predecessors Waterloo Lutheran University and Waterloo College, as well as the Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. Holdings also include records about the environmental conservation movement in Canada, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, and music in Kitchener-Waterloo.
Laurier Special Collections is the library's research collection of primary documents. The collection focuses on: the Environment (with an emphasis on water resources, Canada's North, and biosphere reserves in Canada); the history of Lutheranism in Canada; and the history of Kitchener-Waterloo.
