A church building was first constructed in 1820, and later a new building was dedicated in 1864. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It closed ca. 1967, with the Trustees continuing to meet to handle property matters.
White Oak United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The White Oak Bible Christian Church was formed ca. 1870 and it formed part of the London Mission. A church was built ca. 1875. In 1884, the church became White Oak Methodist Church and formed part of Westminster Circuit with North Stree, Sharon, Littlewood, Byron, Gore and White Oak. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It closed ca. 1969
