Biografie
Arthur Welburn Jones (1910-1983) was a United Church minister and Canada's first industrial chaplain. He was ordained in 1938, and married Jessie Marshall, daughter of the Reverend A.E. Marshall, in 1939. He served charges at Morgan's Point, Tobermory, and Port Dalhousie. In 1943 the Reverend Jones accepted the position of Industrial Chaplain at a shell-filling plant in Ajax. After the war he spent 21 years at Willowdale United Church, followed by nine years at College Street United Church. He retired late in 1974, moving to Albright Gardens in Beamsville.
