Valerie Dugale has worked as a self-employed human rights consultant. She joined the Foundation for Equal Families in 1994, and has served as a member of its Board of Directors.

Fonds consists of records documenting the activities of the Foundation for Equal Families, as maintained by Valerie Dugale, a member of its Board of Directors. The Foundation for Equal Families was founded in 1994 following the failure of Bill 167 in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Records in the fonds relate to administrative matters, such as meetings of the Board of Directors, Annual General Meetings, and membership matters, as well as to legal challenges and other advocacy work carried out by the organization.
