Glencoe-Appin Pastoral Charge was formed ca. 1977 as a two-point pastoral charge with the amalgamation of Glencoe and Appin Pastoral Charges. It is still an active pastoral charge of the United Church of Canada.
Trinity United Church, located at 180 Main Street in Glencoe, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist and Presbyterian.
Appin United Church, located at 94 Wellington Street in Appin, was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. It was formerly part of Appin Pastoral Charge, which included Tait's Corner, Springfield (1926), North Ekfrid (1926), Bethel (1926) and Riverside. Both Tait's Corner and Riverside United Churches closed ca. 1958

Fonds consists of records, including marriages, 1896-1909, of Glencoe Methodist Church, 1891-1925; records, including baptisms, 1842-1853, marriages, 1848-1853, of Ekfrid and Mosa Presbyterian Church, 1842-1853; records of Knox Presbyterian Church, Ekfrid Township (includes Ekfrid and Mosa Presbyterian Church), 1846-1885; marriage register of Appin United Church (includes Appin Methodist Church), 1897-1930; records, including marriages, 1909-1949, of Trinity United Church, Glencoe (includes Glencoe Methodist Church), 1909-1949.
