Biographical history

Thomas A. Keatinge Jr. was born in 1890 and was the son of Thomas A. Keatinge Sr. who was the Manager of the Bond Hardware Company located on Wyndham Street, Guelph. Thomas Keatinge Jr. enlisted with the 29th O.S Battery and served in France with the Second Brigade. In April of 1919 he was discharged from the army at nineteen years of age. When his father died Thomas Keatinge took over as the manager of the Bond Hardware Company. He later married Evelyn Barron and the two of them moved to 12 Arthur Street, but they later took up residence at 76 Arthur Street. It is believed that Thomas Keatinge died sometime between 1957 and 1959 and his wife between 1998-1999.
