St. Matthew's - Donwood Pastoral Charge was formed ca. 1965 as a two-point charge including St. Matthew's United Church and Donwood United Church, both in Peterborough. St. Matthew's was established in 1963. Donwood United Church was established in 1962. These two congregations amalgamated in June 2014 to form St. Matthew's -Donwood United Church, using the former Donwood building at 737 Donwood Drive in Peterborough. The congregation changed its name on October 7, 2015 to Greenwood United Church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.
Peterborough Suburban Pastoral Charge was formed in 1963. It included the congregations of Stewart Hall, Grace, Donwood and Cold Springs United Churches.
Stewart Hall United Church was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian.
