Served in Canada Canadian Engineers; England No. 11 Field Company Canadian Engineers; France Non Field Company Canadian Engineers. Battles: Ypres, St. Eloi, Mount Sorrel, Somme, Vimy Ridge. Wounded November 1916. Killed at Vimy Ridge, April 9, 1917”.
