Cherry Valley Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist; it included Cherry Valley, East Lake Road, Union Church in Point Petre and Salmon Point, and was discontinued ca. 1967 when Salmon Point closed, and Cherry Valley from Cherry Valley Pastoral Charge joined with South Bay from Milford Pastoral Charge to form Cherry Valley-Milford Pastoral Charge. Cherry Valley United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Point Petre United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist; it closed ca. 1955. Salmon Point United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist; it closed ca. 1967. Carman Union United Church in South Marysburgh Township was established in 1925, formerly Methodist; it closed ca. 1967.
