Administrative history

The Secretary to the Board was responsible for sending out Board mailings, taking the minutes of the meetings of the Board, distributing minutes, keeping copies of the minutes, keeping files on current and former Board members, and keeping correspondence files.

Scope and content

Series consists of office files and records from the Office of the Secretary to the Board. The majority of the material comes from Board Secretary M. McKenzie's office. The series is broken down into five subseries:

Immediate source of acquisition

The files of the Board Expansion Committee (1976) were transferred from the Office of the Secretary to the Board to the Archives May 1, 1997.

The remaining files were transferred from the Office of the Secretary to the Board to the Archives February 11, 1998 and received by the Archives on April 7, 1998.
