A photocopy of the first page of the first issue of the Northern Daily Star (January 11, 1909) is included but the rest of the issue, all editions until March 1910 and editions from 1912 are not known to have survived. (If anyone has these missing issues, please contact the archives at archives@greatersudbury.ca.) Material is available on microfilm (March 1, 1910 - December 31, 2008, excluding 1912). The Sudbury Star issues from January 1951 to November 1978 are also available in monthly bound, original print format except for the following: August 1951, January 1952, February 1953, February & July - October 1954, November 1956, December 1958, June 1959, June 1960, August & November 1961, April & October 1966, September 1971, May - July 1974, March 1976 and February 1977.
