    Scope and content

The fonds consist of television and film scripts in which Lionel Siegel played a part, either as script writer, author of the story on which the script was based, or in some production capacity. There are also scripts of productions by others which Siegel has collected, some because he was writing scripts for subsequent episodes of the program. The scripts are arranged alphabetically by title and include, 'Ben Casey', 'From here to eternity,' (1979) on which Siegel worked with several others, 'The last westerner,' with a screenplay by Jack Elam and Siegel, several episodes of 'Peyton Place,' 'Rawhide,' (including script for "Corporal Dasovik," for which Siegel was awarded 'Best western TV drama of the year, 1964,) 'Then came Bronson, (1969), episodes of 'The Waltons,' (1972), 'The bold ones,' 'Hoover versus the Kennedys the second civil war,' (1987) and others.
