Collection consists of 35mm slides collected by Heritage York over the years. Included are many reproductions of historic photographs depicting built history in the former City of York; the restoration of the Lambton House; Heritage York events; and other materials used for various local history talks and presentations.

Some slides appear to have been taken from those included in the City of York LACAC fonds [1998.03]. This is likely due to slides from LACAC being used for talks and presentations.

Slides were sent to Kodak for digitization in late 1998 and early 1999. Images were created using Kodak's proprietary PCD format. Kodak Photo CD master discs have been retained. Some slides in the collection may not have been digitized.
