Joe Laflamme drove his wolf team down Elm and Durham Streets in Sudbury while on his way to Montreal, Boston and New York. Joe Laflamme of Gogama was reported to have passed away in Sudbury, Ontario on August 5, 1958. The deceased was later identified as his brother, Elzear Laflamme. Joe Laflamme passed away on February 5, 1965 in Montreal, Quebec at the age of 75.
