"What Canada means to me" was the theme of Canada's biggest-ever "paint-in" held in Guelph. About 300 children used oil pastels to draw pictures on papers fixed to windows of downtown Guelph stores as a Canada Week Project. Among the art admirers of the art work were Julie Vandramin and her children Tina, 9, Connie, 8, and Lori, 5. The picture shown is the creation of Pat and Peter Esztelecky.

The students worked for eight weeks to develop two children's plays but 1837: the Farmers' Revolt was their final project.
