This fonds consists of the Brant Agricultural Society minute book (1862-1875), containing the minutes of directors' and annual membership meetings, which took place in Walkerton, reflecting the concerns and activities of the Society, as well as lists of competitors in the Brant Agricultural Exhibition / Annual Fall Fair. It also consists of a membership book containing the names and post offices of subscribers / members of the Society from 1868-1896, with information about dues paid. Enclosed in the membership book is "An Act to Further Improve the Agriculture and Arts Act, 1895"

In the books, Mr. Hillmer recorded watch inventories (1899), as well as job numbers, client name, work requested and price. Item List: Watch Repair Book 1910 - 1913; Watch Repair Book 1924 - 1934; Watch Repair Book 1936 - 1954; Watch Repair Record book, 1913 - 1924; and Watch Repair Record book 1898-1910. The fonds also includes a Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of Canada certificate appointing Robert Benjamin Hillmer to the office of Grand Superintendent of Huron District No. 6, February 28, 1918.

The records not only document the social and cultural activities sponsored by the group between 1930 and 1980, but also the administrative part of its existence.
The fonds consists of incorporating documents such as the original charter of the Society, and the 1932 letter Patent for the Loyal Finns of Canada; membership records, minutes, financial records, correspondence, newsletters, plays and photographs. It also contains newspaper clippings and leaflets.

De plus, la correspondance témoigne des liens que l'association maintient avec les autres associations ou groupements étudiants tout comme elle nous informe sur les efforts de représentation et sur les interventions de l'association auprès de divers acteurs politiques et culturels de la scène régionale, provinciale et même fédérale sont bien illustrés par la correspondance.
Le volet culturel des activités de l'association est aussi bien documenté par les différentes affiches, coupures de presse et documents de gestion de ces activités.

The documents provide insight to the activities of this group from 1974 to 1996. The records show that through the years, the group has been active in: the preservation of the Lily Creek Conservation Area, bylaws regulating commercial land development and commercial signs, the disposal of hazardous wastes, recycling, the repercussions of a teachers' strike, and the controversial issue of slurry trucks and traffic safety.

These records provide insight to the activities of the Chapter within the Sudbury area from 1932 to 1997. Through the years, the activities of this organization have entailed: sponsoring children at summer camps, genetic testing clinics, scholarships, donations to local hospitals and libraries, and service at Citizenship Court. In the earlier years, this Chapter organized inoculation clinics, the Fresh Air Camp, support for needy children, and aid for the war effort.
This fonds does not contain all of the minutes for the Chapter.

This fonds consists of: minutes, correspondence, scrapbooks, reports, financial records, as well as printed materials. It also contains tape recordings, budget books, photographs, a travel diary, and notes on various family histories.
Sem títuloThis fonds attests to the activities and involvement of the Sudbury and District Ministerial Association (SDMA) in the community. The fonds contains their constitution, minutes and related papers, general correspondence, cash books, reports, pamphlets and mailing lists. The records are directly related to the organization of SDMA.
More specifically, this fonds documents the social and educational involvement of an organization of Protestant churches in the Sudbury region. The cooperation of SDMA with several community-based organizations, as well as the participation of SDMA with regard to inter-church activities, is well documented. SDMA was involved in activities in the community such as: radio and television broadcasts of Sunday services, a nursing school at Memorial Hospital, help for addiction and alcoholism, an emergency counselling service, religious education, a Northern Ontario home for unwed mothers, helping the families of strikers, weekly services at Pioneer Manor and the Sudbury Sanatorium, and submitting a report to the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism.
There are no documents for the year 1960, and very few documents for the years 1955 and 1959.
