Item is printer's proof of poster "25 Mar 15/86" written at bottom in pencil. Concert to aid Organ Fund was held March 23, 1886. Vocal and Instrumental Music, Reading, Recitations, Dialogues, etc. Concert included: Misses Hawthorn of Zion; Miss Mabel Sheehy, Miss L. E. Armstrong and Mr Vance, Port Hope; Mr and Mrs Callender, J. H. Dyer, J. C. Thorton, Garden Hill; Miss L & C Boyd; Revs. D. Balfour, W. H. Jamieson, MA and J. Smith.

The series consists of records concerning reunions, festivals, workshops, and anniversaries. These records comprise of address books, booklets, ceremony schedules, correspondences, event schedules, liturgy and prayer booklets and sheets, mailing lists, former Sisters membership lists, music sheets and hymns, newspaper clippings and photocopies, postcards with envelopes, photographs, and programs.

Collection consists of posters designed by Will Munro for events organized by him at various venues in downtown Toronto. Posters employ a variety of media and processes, including silkscreen and photocopies. Some of these posters were featured in Will Munro: Total Eclipse, July 31 – September 26, 2010, part of the Toronto Now series of exhibitions at the AGO. Silk-screening of many of the posters was carried out by Michael Comeau.

File consists of planning information for Visual Arts Month, 1984. It includes: Budget Information; Exhibition Forms; Brochures; Correspondence; Promotional Materials; Mailing lists and details surrounding Visual Arts Month sponsored by the Port Hope Sesquicentennial Committee and the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild.

Item is a programme for the [Port Hope] United Church Men's Club Banquet in honour of Rev. Gordon A. Sisco, M.A. The event was held on Tuesday May the 10th, 1932.

The fonds consist of minute and cash books, newsletters, handbooks, reports and songbooks of the Tyendinaga East Women's Institute.

The collection consists of photographic negatives and transparencies documenting various trade shows held at Exhibition Place and associated events held at other locations, such as publicity photo shoots and galas. Included are images of the Boat Show, the Canadian National Business Show, the Flower Show, the National Home Show, the International Electric and Electronic Conference and Exposition, the Manufacturers’ Opportunity Show, the Canadian National Pool and Patio Show, and the Sportsmen Show. Photographs depict crowds walking through the shows; performances, ceremonies and competitions that were held at the shows; models and notable personalities; exhibitor booths; show signs displayed on the exterior of the buildings where the shows were held; and various displays of items and events relevant to each show. Also included are portraits of William Mallatratt (Chief General Manager of Exhibition Place from 1976-1981), his house and his retirement party (before he became Chief General Manager), which took place during the Home Show of 1976.

Photographs were arranged by the creator alphabetically by show name. This arrangement was maintained and, where necessary, some refiling was done. The files in this collection consist of negatives and transparencies that were kept together in labelled envelopes containing between 2 and 200 photographs. This file structure has been kept, although the negatives and transparencies have been rehoused in new envelopes. The titles written on the original envelopes have been transcribed and recorded in a note in each file’s description; however, descriptive titles have been supplied as the file titles if the original titles were not complete or correct. Many photographs are labelled with numbers used by the creator to maintain control over the negatives. These creator numbers, when they exist, have been recorded in the alpha-numeric designations note for each file.

File consists of correspondence and information for the Town and Country Colouring Book created for the Port Hope Sesquicentennial with the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario, Port Hope Branch, and funding from Wintario, 1984.

Series consists of programs for the League’s annual banquets (1961-1974), a rule book (1974), and posters containing information about the history of bowling and of the League, and about the trophies awarded to League members.

File consists of (1) Anniversary issue of Blue & White, the Port Hope High School newsletter. Issue includes information on the school, crest, history, memories, photographs of principals and photographs of different buildings used for the high school since 1853, Valedictorians, Staff, Student Council and school song; and (2) Programme for the 25th class reunion 1956-1982, Port Hope High School.

Item is a programme for the Durham Teachers' Association Annual Meeting, listing speakers and activities, c. 1900. The annual meeting of the Durham Teachers' Association was held in Port Hope in the "old high school", formerly St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The former church building was used as the high school until the new school building was built on Pine Street in 1896. Mrs. Hoodless spoke on Domestic Science. Mrs. Hoodless is believed to be Adelaide Hunter Hoodless, founder of the Women's Institute.

Sub-series consists of miscellaneous materials created and collected by the Public Relations Department in the course of planning and managing events in celebration of the Hospital’s 150th anniversary in 1979. Materials include correspondence, financial records, publications, advertising and fundraising literature, minutes of meetings and event programs.

File consists of Royal Family ephemera collected and addressed to the Stuart-Grant family of Ballintruan, Port Hope, 1882-1953. It includes: Royal Family stationary (i.e. envelopes and letterhead); programme from the funeral of Donald Alexander Smith, 1st Baron Strathcona and Mount Royal, 1914; invitation to attend the wedding of H.R.H. Prince Leopold Duke of Albany with H.S.H. Princess Helen Frederica Augusta of Waldeck and Pyrmont, 1882; invitation to a ball in honour of the marriage of H.R.H. Princess Beatrice and H.S.H. Prince Henry Maurice of Battenburg, 1885; three (3) invitations to visit with Lady Strathcona, 1898-1900; programme from attendance at "Balmoral Castle Concert by the Glasgow Select Choir, 1897; invitation and programme book (hard-bound) from the marriage of H.R.H. Princess Louise of Wales and the Earl of Fife, 1889; souvenir programme from The Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 1953; and a collection of postcards documenting royal events and Balmoral Castle.

Item is a programme from the opening of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 131 Walton Street, Port Hope on July 22, 1906. The opening services included guest speaker Rev. B. C. Jones and Pastor Rev. H. E. Abraham. An image of St. Paul's Church is on the front.

File consists of lists of subscribers for the St. Paul's Anglican Church at Perrytown Supper Canvas, 1940.

Series consists of flyers, oversized posters and one (1) ticket to the Slidestreet event held down Walton Street in downtown Port Hope, 8 Aug 2015. The oversized posters are for Slidestreet Port Hope, and Port Hope Farmers' Market's 12th Annual Arts Festival.

File consists of a tentative agenda for a film introduction; and two (2) copies of a transcript from pilot program entitled "Sketches of Our Town - Port Hope, Ont.," 1984.
