Item is a gold-plated tie clip featuring the emblem of General Foods (Kraft) and three small rubies. It was given to John Austin to commemorate 25 years of service working at the Kraft plant in Port Hope, and later, Cobourg.
Whiskey Ledger belonging to Nathaniel Haskill who owned property and lived at Lot 16, Broken Front and Lot 165, Concession 1, Hope Township (now the Municipality of Port Hope). The earliest date of entry is 1801 with most dates primarily from 1807- 1813. - the inside pages are hand written with the purchaser's name, a description and amount of whiskey purchased and the means of payment. Often based on a barter system with payment made in the form of bushels of wheat, cows, barrels of flour etc. Some customers paid in cash. - comprised of 145 pages which are written upon with the remaining pages blank. The first 33 pages include more than one customer, where later pages, 34 - 145 are devoted to a single customer. Each customer has two pages together, side by side. In handwriting at the top is the name of the customer. First name on the left page and surname on the right side page. Left page also lists the date, amount of whiskey obtained and the cost in pounds and shillings. The left page indicates the means of payment.

Other names mentioned, either as sender or receiver, include: Port Hope Evening Guide, Government of Canada, Susan Websters, Hannah Straw (Sarah's sister), George Wilson (Sarah's husband), Sarah Burnham, Mary Howell (Sarah's sister), Elizabeth Howell (Sarah's mother), and Henry Howell. There are also a few financial records (i.e. receipts) in the collection.

It includes: "Indenture of Bargain and Sale, Jonathan Walton and Elias Smith to James Hawkins," 1817; Deed, conveys and transfers to Francis Little from the University and College of Toronto, 1856; Deed between Mrs. Anne Wade, et al to Harriett Day, 1904; Mortgage, Harriett Day and Thomas B. Chalk, et al Trustees, 1904.
Item is an Indenture of Bargain and Sale between Jonathan Walton and Zacheus Burnham and Jacob Choate, for Lots 4 and 5 in the Second Concession, Hope Township. Signed by all parties.
File consists of a Land Deed for Lot 21 Con 4, Cavan Township. The deed was registered in Port Hope and witnessed by William Henderson of Port Hope, who also provide a witness statement. The repaired deed was mended with newsprint showing Sheriff sales in an 1824 newspaper.
