Series consists of images from WWI in which Addision Alexander and his brother Ross, both served. Many photos depict other men from Vaughan, Ontario who also joined the war. Includes some excellent scenes of camp life and the destruction wrought by the war in France.

Series consists of photograhs depicting the people and places of early Vaughan as well as the post offices throughout Vaughan Township (Norberta wrote a book Chatting About the Post Offices of Vaughan Township, Ontario, published 1983), Norberta was also a long-time journalist with the Woodbridge and Vaughan News and thus some of the photos she used in her articles can also be found in this series.

The collection consists of the Ontario Folklore Archives which includes student essays and cassettes of folklore in Canada. Subjects discussed in the student essays include folk medicine, folklore from regions in Ontario and Canada (Oshawa, Ontario, Feversham, Ontario, Newfoundland), from cultural groups (Jews, Ukrainians, French Canadians), musical folklore, social folklore (children's jokes, urban graffiti), and related topics. The largest part of the fonds contains files related to transportation and especially highway traffic, which reflects Young's role on the Select Committee on Highway Traffic. The files are divided into subjects related to transportation (safety, lighting, re-sale of automobiles, automobile prices, alternatives to the automobile), and include reports of government agencies, briefs to the Select Committee and other committees, copies of bills, copies of Hansard (Ontario), advertisements, press releases and background material. In addition, there is material on several other issues before the Legislative Assembly including smoking, housing (including public housing), election expenses, reformatories, municipal affairs, and material relating to the Revenue Ministry, including material on land transfer taxes, provincial income taxes, the government estimates, securities law, the Corporations Act and related subjects. This material includes reports, submissions, statements of ministers and members, copies of speeches, Hansard, copies of bills and amendments and related material.

The fonds consists of material that documents Pittman's work in film and television and includes scripts, storyboards, correspondence, financial records, publicity material, shooting schedules, edit sheets, research material, grant applications and other related material. It includes photographs taken during the production of a number of his films and audio-visual records in various formats that document the various stages in the making of film and television productions with which Pittman was involved. There is considerable material relating in particular to "Shattered City". The fonds also includes a series of audio recordings of interviews conducted by Pittman for "Saturday Night at the Movies" with film directors including Bernardo Bertolucci, Robert Altman, and Norman McLaren among others.
