Cook, Ramsay, 1931-The fonds consists of personal correspondence of Robert Pridham Crawford and his wife Elsie along with financial records relating to the Gladhill Farm, including income tax records, employment records, and cash books, cancelled cheques, and related material. There is also a good deal of printed material in the form of pamphlets, brochures, magazines and newspaper clippings. These deal with Crawford's professional activities as an engineer. There is also material describing Sudbury, Ontario and material concerned with horses, farming, and homemaking. In addition, the fonds contains notes and material from Crawford's student days at the University of Toronto. There are also some financial records from Dr. E. M. Crawford. There is a small amount of material dedicated to Georgian College, including planning documents, calendars, and some correspondence.

Cuff and J.L. Granatstein which was published in 1978 by Samuel Stevens Hackkert & Co., under the title 'American dollars-Canadian prosperity: Canadian-American economic relations, 1945-1950,' and correspondence and readers reports relating to the book.
Cuff, Robert D., 1941-The photographs document the life of a German soldier during World War II. They include portraits of Kurt Czasch and members of the German Army, civilians (possibly relatives?), photographs of environments where he was stationed, movement of troops and materiel, photographs of dead soldiers, prison camps, military life and related themes. The photographs are of the 'snapshot' variety.

Egnal, Marc, 1943-The fonds consists of correspondence and papers (1928-1959), arranged chronologically, receipts for monies received from Maurice Duplessis and others, including receipts from organizations, associations and student awards. There are also the proceedings of the meetings of the Public Accounts Committee Inquiry (1936), through which Duplessis exposed the corruption of the Liberal government of the day. The fonds also contains scrapbooks of newspaper clippings relating to political and social developments in Quebec (1929-1949) with concentration on the period, 1934-1936, as well as newspaper clippings relating to the death and funeral of Duplessis. In addition, there is correspondence with and/or concerning several prominent Quebecois including Daniel Johnson, Thibaudeau Rinfret, Msgr. Ferdinand Vandry, Georges Vanier, and companies located in the province (Dominion Textiles, Noranda Mines), and related subjects.
Duplessis, Maurice, 1890-1959The fonds consists records of R.M. Fowler, including reports, correspondence, transcripts of hearing and related material from the Royal Commission on Dominion-Provincial Relations (Rowell-Sirois). This includes summary of the hearings (1937-1940), and transcripts of private sittings with the Manitoba and New Brunswick delegations (1938). In addition, there is material from Commission staff in the form of memoranda (1937-1938), precis of discussions (1938-1939), bibliographies and Orders-in-Council, tax forms and notes and estimates relating to unemployment in Canada (1938-1939). There are also copies of several reports issued by the Commission on the taxing power in Canada, debt adjustment, excise duties, and studies of federal systems in other countries.

Freeman, Robert, 1933-The fonds consists of correspondence, notes and notebooks, index cards as well as a large volume of photocopied articles used by Otto Friedman in his teaching, research and writing activity. These include notes taken during his own education in England. In addition, there are typed lecture notes for courses he taught at York, as well as typescripts of articles and lectures by Friedman, and a typescript draft of his 'Masaryk's social philosophy and critique of Marxism,'. There are also course reading lists, some student materials (class lists, including some with student grades, student essays, and correspondence) and some correspondence and printed materials relating to York University, including calendars and handbooks. There is some material dating from Friedman's time as a management consultant in London, England, including studies of management styles in British firms. The posters are reproductions of paintings by masters (Picasso, Utrillo, etc.), that appear to have hung in his office.

Gillies, James M., 1924-The fonds consists of Harry Knowles Girling's records pertaining to his activities at York University. It includes reports, minutes and related material from several University committees including the Interim Curriculum Committee, 1961, and the Senate Curriculum Committee, 1962, the Council of the Faculty of Arts and Science, and the English Department. In addition there is a copy proof of 'Five heroic plays,' (1960).
Girling, Harry Knowles, 1919-The fonds consists of transcripts of taped interviews in several languages (Ukrainian, French, English, Italian, Cantonese) conducted by Gérald Gold in 1981 with residents of ethnic communities in Timmins, Ontario. In addition, there are photocopies and typed excerpts of articles from the 'Porcupine advance,' [newspaper] dealing with ethnic relations in the region, 1912-1950, and photocopies and typescripts of articles and essays dealing with ethnic communities in Timmins. There is also a photocopy of a mine company payroll for the year 1941.

The correspondence files are arranged in two ways: for the period of 1958-1979, the material is arranged chronologically; for the period of 1980-1984, the correspondence is arranged alphabetically.
Haynes, Robert Hall, 1931-1998The fonds consists of completed questionnaires from 224 Canadian printmakers in which they discuss their work, education and formative influences. This data was collected for an unpublished work on printmaking in Canada. Many of the files contain photographic reproductions of works which Jules Heller apparently acquired with the purpose of including them in the book. In addition, there are some exhibit catalogues, correspondence and research materials. There are also nine cassette tapes of interviews with the artists: Pat Martin Bates, David Blackwood, John K. Esler, Paul Fournier & Jo Manning, Vera Frankel, Christopher Pratt, David Samilla, Gordon Smith and John Snow; most conducted in 1973. The fonds also contains corrected galley proofs of 'Printmaking today' (1972 edition).

There is also material from the Joint Committee on Alternatives, 1972-1973, on which Horn represented York University Faculty Association (YUFA). There is also material from the Canadian Association of University Teachers, from the Committee on Faculty-Student Relations, the Committee on Canadianization of the University, and related material, 1972-1977. In addition, there is material from the Ontario Council of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA), including executive minutes, 1975-1977, and briefs and reports relating to salaries and benefits from OCUFA, 1973-1979.

In addition, there is material from the League for Social Reconstruction, including minutes of meetings of the National Executive (1936-1941), membership material, and reports from the National Convention (1936), as well as newspaper clippings and related material. For the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation there are minutes, campaign material, and newspaper clippings relating to the London (Ont.) Riding Association (1938-1946).
