The fonds consists of a biographical sketch of Dr. Totton, his Royal Army Medical Corps certificate of commission, his Canadian army Medical Corps certificate of commission issued retroactively, a Christmas entertainment program from the No. 8 General Hospital, Boisguillaume, France, a photocopy of one page from the University of Toronto Roll of Service, trench maps, photographs, including hospitals in France, and post cards.

Russell Markland fonds

The fonds consists of the book, correspondence concerning the publication of the book and the contract between Markland and the publisher, Erskine Macdonald. The correspondence consists of letters to and from Markland and several of the contributors to the anthology, letters to and from Markland to various newspapers and publishers seeking permission to reprint poems, a letter from the Oxford University Press turning down the anthology, and letters to and from the publisher of the anthology, Erksine MacDonald. There is also some correspondence between Markland and others about Erksine Macdonald after the publication of the book.

The collection is mainly concerned with Blake's visit to Toronto in September and October of 1899 and Cronin's wish that the visit serve as expression of support for Irish Home Rule. Besides correspondence between Cronin and Blake, the collection contains a holograph copy of a letter from Lord John Russell (1792-1878) dated 16 October 1839, letters from Senator John O'Donohoe and various notes for speeches by Cronin, one dated as late as 30 May 1919.

The collection consists of 23 letters from McGee to John O’Donohoe (1824-1902), a senator. The McGee collection also contains the research materials of J. Alexander Wallace, M.P., who wrote a Master’s thesis on McGee at McMaster University in 1916. The materials include: correspondence, interview notes with John M. McGee, half-brother of Thomas D’Arcy McGee, typed copy of a letter from McGee to A. M. Sullivan, editor, Nation, Dublin, 25 June 1866, and research notes concerning McGee and Whelan.

The fonds (25-1993) consists of McNee's notes, entitled "Gas Cases" contained in a notebook with the printed title "Army Book 136." The notes are in pencil, 21 pages in length, and cover the period May to July 1917. Also in the fonds are reports of the Chemical Warfare Medical Committee, reports of the Special Investigation Committee on Surgical Shock and Allied Conditions, offprints and pamphlets.

The fonds consists mostly of photographs from World War II, with subjects including Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill at the Casablanca Conference; the Allied bombing of the Benedictine monastery at Monte Cassino; troop trucks, mule trains, soldiers and civilians. There are also photographs of the U.S. capitol in 1954, photographs of the Sioux people, and personal photographs of family and friends. The textual records include correspondence, commendations, discharge papers, and certificates relating to Longini’s military career, as well as news clippings.

The fonds consists of 28 letters to Major John Fairfax-Blakeborough, mainly from Sir Alfred Pease, but also from other members of the Pease family; news clippings; a typed carbon by Pease concerning family history, dedicated to his children; and a typed carbon of a memoir of Pease by Fairfax-Blakeborough, published in April 1964. Fairfax-Blakeborough was an author and journalist who sometimes wrote under the pen name Hambletonian. He was born in Guisborough, Yorks. on 16 Jan. 1883 and, like Pease, was a member of the Cleveland Bay Horse Society. His books concern racing, hunting, and country life.
