The arrangement of these files preserves the division of Dr. Bigelow's correspondence into three categories by various medical secretaries under Dr. Bigelow's general direction.

Files 0094-7-0-11 to 0094-7-0-18 contain correspondence of a more personal, casual nature between Dr. Bigelow and various professional friends, and correspondence pertaining to Dr. Bigelow's personal professional career.

File 0094-7-0-19 contains correspondence generally concerning Dr. Bigelow's philosophical interest in metaphysics and in particular relating to an article published in the Montreal Gazette, December 18, 1970, regarding Dr. Bigelow's thoughts on the nature of the human soul.
