Fonds consists of correspondence between Wells and Archbishop Matheson, Chancellor, St. John's College, Winnipeg, dealing with the financial crash of the diocese and province of Rupert's Land, arranged chronologically (1922-1932), correspondence regarding a BBC broadcast with Wells and from publishers with regard to the writing and publishing of his autobiography (1937). Included are original typescripts of chapters 41-45 from his autobiography "The life story of George Anderson Wells" from The Canadian Churchman, Nov. 12 1936 (v.63, #41, P. 642).
