Books of remembrance. One records the names and dates of death of Women's Institute members of the branches at: Roslin, Plainfield, Phillipston (Bethel) Zion, Quinte, Carmel, Cannifton, Melrose, Foxboro, Tyendinaga East, Moira, Chapman's, Parkdale, Lonsdale and Marlbank (1925-2013). The other is a scrapbook with photographs and brief biographies of men who had enlisted for the Second World War in the areas covered by the Women's Institute branches of: Melrose, Phillipston (Bethel) Zion, Plainfield, Quinte, Roslin and Tyendinaga East (May 1944).

UntitledMost of the papers were created and used by Mark Bunting, DTM, who was a Charter Member of Napanee Valley Toastmasters and of Cataraqui Valley Toastmasters, and extremely active in Toastmasters generally. Some of the papers came from his wife, Jennifer Bunting, ATM, who was also a Charter Member and filled various club offices. A few items came from other donors. The papers are divided into two series. Within the series, they are chronological. Giffen, Port Hope Evening Guide, c1950; the development of the national flag of Canada, 1964-1965; "Six Years of War Against Germany" timeline; various clippings regarding the early history of Port Hope; and a hand-written poem signed "Gill"

Some of the subjects covered are family histories, churches, hydro power, organizations, clubs and societies, floods, Port Hope harbour, historical information on the town and area, houses, public buildings, industry and small businesses, railways, viaducts and bridges along with original newspapers reflecting on the history of Port Hope as well as information on municipal matters and various government reports. The historical information covers a period from the mid-19th century to 2000. The fonds also consists of a large number of photographs. It also consists of a number of newspaper editions including special editions.

Series consists of research compiled from local business directories by a Port Hope Archives volunteer concerning the location of various businesses located within the downtown core of Port Hope, c1940-2012.
