Sous-fonds contains 4 saws in varying sizes and one mitre box. The saws and mitre were all owned by William Rowe and used for various personal and work projects. One project involved constructing a shack in the midst of a corn field near Lake Ontario at the mouth of Highland Creek. Here he also built an outhouse with a steel beam foundation. The tools are indicative of what may have been used in the surrounding woods of the Humber Valley while Lambton House was operational.
