This collection consists of historical records collected and maintained by Agnes Hepburn, a well-known Port Stanley historian. Also in this collection are essays written by her, primarily relating to the history of Port Stanley and area, as well as the research material which she used to write these essays. Photographs and letters written by Alma Pearl McMullin, a teacher at the Talbotville Public School (Southwold School Section Number 6) from 1939-1944. Fonds includes class photographs of her students, and letters that she sent to her boyfriend at the time, W.L. "Jimmy" Ward. At the time, teachers had to resign on marriage. Alma and Jimmy were married in July 1944.

The fonds reflects the history of Archibald McLachlin and his family from 1859-1926. The textual records consist of his correspondence, financial records, business records, documents related to his duties as returning Officer for West and East Elgin, and minutes and reports for Alma College. Also included are financial and business receipts pertaining to Walter McBrien, a family relative, and various discrete items retained by McLachlin and his family. The Aylmer Centennial Garden and Horticultural Society fonds consists of 3 scrapbooks, and associated negatives, encompassing the years 1972-1997, that document the Society's meetings, activities, events, and members.

The Burwell Family fonds is primarily comprised of the peronal and buisness papers of Hannibal Burwell (1825-1886), his son, Alfred E. Burwell (1871-1943) and his daughter Hannah Alberta Eliza Burwell (1864-1929), later Mrs. David Williams.
•There are 20 related artifacts including two family bibles, a portable writing desk belonging to Hannibal's father, Mahlon Burwell (1783-1846), a prominent surveyor, Justice of the Peace and MLA, Albert Burwell's South Africa War medals and volunteer service medals and a portrait of Mahlon's daughter Louisa Burwell (1818-1834).
