Sub-series consists of trust journals, cash books, ledgers, financial statements, memoranda, notes, reports, receipts, warranties, and transfer sheets pertaining to firm clients and firm finances. Many of these records, particularly ledgers, transfer sheets and trust journals, have been transferred to microfilm.

Sub-series consists of memoranda and minutes pertaining to meetings of the firm's Administration Committee in the early and mid-1980s. These records document the role of the Administration Committee to manage a variety of issues for the firm, including cash and credit card statements, student recruitment, computer systems, office space, holiday hours, office security, health plans, and other miscellaneous administrative issues.

Sub-series consists of a book recording the attendance lists for meetings of the general membership. The book was apparently passed around at each meeting for the members to record their own names.

Records in this subseries include correspondence, notices of executive meetings, receipts for directors' fees, minutes of Board of Directors meetings, budget sheets and memoranda.

Subseries consists of records maintained by Cyril F.H.Carson in his capacity as a director of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Carson served as a member of the Directors' Finance Committee. The subseries includes correspondence, questionnaires, memoranda, telegrams, research notes, reports and notebooks.

Sub-series consists of cash and account books: "Lawyers Club cash book," 1926-1932 and "Journal," 1932-1943, 1943-1949, and 1949-1952. Also included are 30 pages containing bank records, investment information, fees collected, dinner expenses, and other financial information for the period from 1964 to 1965. There are no records for the period from 1952 to 1964. The account book in this subseries contains club financial information from 1988 to 1993.

Sub-series consists of correspondence and other records maintained by the Archivist for the Women's Law Association of Ontario. Topics include the Law Society of Upper Canada's "Crossing the Bar" exhibit, lobbying for a Clara Brett Martin commemorative stamp, the organization of "Effecting change: women in politics" (an association dinner and panel discussion), and general association business.

Correspondents include other members of the Executive Committee, members of the association and representatives of other law-related groups or committees. Much of the correspondence concerns the organization of Executive Committee meetings and the agenda for Executive Committee meetings, preparations for special events and dinners, nominations for awards, and the association newsletter. Included in the sub-series are faxes, letters and memos, and include copies of outgoing correspondence as well as original incoming correspondence.

Sub-series consists of correspondence maintained by the Treasurer of the Women's Law Association of Ontario. The correspondence reflects the activities of the Treasurer as a member of the association's Executive Committee, as well as the specific financial duties of that role. Topics include the planning for Executive Committee meetings and issues before the Committee, content for the association's newsletter, event expenses and deposits, event fees and registration, scholarships, membership fees and applications, and general banking matters.

Sub-series consists of biographical material collected by John D. Arnup about the life of D. Park Jamieson. The sub-series consists of memoranda written by Arnup and Pauline McGibbon, photocopies of newspaper clippings, letters from Wilfred P. Gregory to Arnup, and a photograph of Jamieson in his LL.D. robes.

Members of the committee represented the various departments of the firm and included the managing partners.These records document the committee's mandate within the firm to manage partnership issues, pension plans, business plans, other firm committees and subcommittees, and firm expansion and/or merger plans. Some files in this sub-series pertain to the activities of other committees and subcommittees of the firm, including its Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and Management Committee, particularly regarding the election of the managing partner and various committee representatives.

Carson in his capacity as a director of the Falconbridge Nickel Mines Limited, relating in particular to his appointment as a director, purchases of company shares, labour negotiations and mine conditions. The subseries includes correspondence, meeting notices, speaker notes, press releases and memoranda.
