Cumulatively, the photographs represent a comprehensive record of significant events in the communities of West Lorne and Rodney, Ontario and in West Elgin County during this period.

This series is comprised of a Christmas greeting card sent out by Grace F. Sharratt of West Lorne, 1917, as well as correspondence relating to the recognition dinner being held by the Kiwanis Club of West Lorne, to recognize charter member Earl Lemon on May 2, 1979.
