This series contains records concerning the involvement of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the London diocese in the field of education in St. Thomas, Ontario. While the records mention interactions with the Elgin County Roman Catholic Separate School Board and other schools in St. Thomas, the records in this series are all from or about St. Joseph’s High School. Material includes a feasibility study, yearbooks, news clippings, correspondence, photographs, pamphlets, and drama festival programs. The correspondence primarily concerns administration, funding, alumni events, and the Sisters who worked at the school. The major topics of the material are the Sisters’ employment, administrative concerns, the school’s drama department, and coordination of alumni events. There is also an annotated script for the play TUB by James W. Nichol, which the school performed in 1971.

Four are "release to executor" documents drawn up and signed upon payment of legacies from the will of the late Archibald Love of Dunwich Township, Elgin County, Ontario, 1872-1876. There is also a document indicating the payment of money to various recipients by Catherine Love and Mary Love in 1876 and relinquishing any further claims by the recipients. Each indicates the amount of money received, familial relationships, and locations of the recipients. Some occupations are also noted.

Sem títuloIn September of 1966 several former students and teachers held a meeting to discuss plans for a grand reunion of all students and teachers to be held in 1967 before the building was demolished. Early in 1967, a commemorative coin was commissioned to celebrate the event as well as raise additional funds for the reunion. The reunion was held on August 4-7, 1967.
The fonds consists of photographs and correspondence, publicity materials, a commemorative coin and its casting, and a rubber stamp.

The City of St. Thomas Engineering Department fonds consists primarily of photographs, both black and white and in colour, documenting structural defects in sidewalks and sewers, repairs, road widenings and other projects, alongside general documentation of roads, sewers, and buildings in St. Thomas, primarily from the 1940s through the 1970s.
This fonds consists of three series:
- Events: Documentation, including reports, clippings, and photographs, surrounding large or notable events in which the City Engineer or Engineering Department was involved.
- Photographs: Photographs documenting paving issues, sewer or maintenance work, or other projects done by City Engineering crew, arranged alphabetically by street name. Series contains copies of the official newsletter published by the Kettle Valley Pioneers that reports important updates for the club and Elgin Historical Show. The bulletin was originally titled “Kettle Creek Bulletin”. The title was changed to “Kettle Valley News” in January, 1993.
Series contains bound final reports for the 1985 International Plowing Match which was held in Elgin County and includes reports from various committees as well as statements of receipts and expenditures. Series also contains loose papers including correspondence, a budget, site map, and copies of a report produced by Don Williams that was submitted to the final report. Includes an annotated photocopy of participants contributing to the Antique and Historical section of the plowing match.
Collection contains material collected, created or maintained by Shirley Ewanick, mostly regarding the history of cemeteries in Elgin County. Also contains research material relating to the history of street names in St. Thomas.
