This artificial collection contains more than 6,000 images, mainly of London Ontario and southwestern Ontario region. Subjects include: buildings and streetscapes, civic events, exhibitions and royal visits, farm scenes, industrial scenes and railways, natural and other disasters, individuals (officials, academics etc.), groups (workers, school children, etc.), recreational scenes and sporting events. The images were largely removed from their original context in family or other fonds for ease of item level description.

Posters employ a variety of media and processes, including silkscreen and photocopies. Some of these posters were featured in Will Munro: Total Eclipse, July 31 – September 26, 2010, part of the Toronto Now series of exhibitions at the AGO. Silk-screening of many of the posters was carried out by Michael Comeau.

Collection consists of digital copies of records pertaining to Osgoode Hall Law School student William Douglas Bell's First World War military service and death in Courcelette, France, on 15 Sept. 1916. Included in the collection are photographs of Bell and his family, letters, telegrams, a newspaper clipping, and a framed memorial to Bell.
