The series contains correspondence, newsletters, photographs, scrapbooks, postcards, diagrams, clippings, bulletins, brochures, programs, song sheets, posters, publications, dramatic scripts, and reports. This material is related to the history of the third Mother House of the Sisters of St. Joseph in London, which was called Mount St. Joseph. There is information about the construction of the building and detailed information about its special features and decoration, including the Immaculate Conception Chapel, and its grounds, particularly the Grotto. The records also relate to planning the construction of, and move to, the Sisters’ residence in 2007, and the sale of the Mount St. Joseph building and property. There are records which reflect communal life in the convent, including the various organized groups, events, and dramatic and musical entertainment, and menus, meal planning, and recipes. The series contains records related to men religious who served at the Mother House, and other Diocesan correspondence. Information about both Fatima Hall and Ignatia Hall can be found, including the various uses of space in these buildings.

Included are 39 cassette tapes (and transcripts) of interviews by Munroe Scott with Dominion Sculptor Eleanor Milne and with authors, artists, and academics associated with Milne's work.

The Music Department fonds, RG 10-2, is arranged and described at the series level, with an accompanying file list. The fonds consists of two series: Jack Arthur files (RG 10-2-1) and Subject Files (RG 10-2-2).

Textual records in the fonds consist of correspondence, reports, schedules, minutes, and publicity material related to the Music Department and Grandstand show staff, musicians, performers and other entertainers, competition contestants, and CNE visitors. Graphic and printed materials include photographs of dancers, performer headshots, and other events coordinated by the Music Department, as well as sheet music from the 1953 Grandstand show.

Few documents exist for the years 1960, 1962, 1973, and 1981. No records exist for the years 1954 to 1956, 1959, and 1963 to 1972.

Fonds consists primarily of Black's records pertaining to her publications about Virginia Woolf, including "Three guineas" as edited by Black, and "Virginia Woolf as feminist" (including research notes, correspondence, drafts, proofs, and jacket art), and correspondence with Quentin Bell (Woolf's nephew and biographer). Also included are miscellaneous course material, book reviews written by Black, York University's Office of the Status of Women material including a run of "The Second Decade", publication lists created by Black, documents regarding the establishment of the Women's Studies programmes at York, and the enhancement of the Nellie Langford Rowell Library at York.

Fonds reflects the North Bay Community Concert Association's organization and sponsorship of musical concert series in North Bay, and also contains records pertaining to the Association's governance and administration. Records span the entirety of the Association's existence from 1943 to 1984, and slightly beyond it. Records are arranged into three series based on function or documentary type. Textual records in the fonds consist of annual reports, by-laws, membership lists, concert programs, promotional material, correspondence (primarily with booking agencies, grants agencies, and local community groups), meeting minutes, scrapbooks, and newspaper clippings about concerts and events. The fonds also contains promotional photographs and other publicity material regarding concert performers, which was provided by the booking agency.
