This photograph shows Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Jennings celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary at their daughter Betty's House. The Jennings had three children, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. They were married July 18, 1922 at the St. George's Anglican Church.
This photograph shows a display that was set up by Greenpeace-Guelph and G-OPIRG (Ontario Public Interest Research Group) to campaign for the abandonment of the northern pipeline projects. Within the groups they formed "Focus on the North", which called the pipeline projects a "monumental mistake" as it would lead to serious problems for southern Canada. Manning the table were Karl Evans and Grace Kupczynska.
The International Students Association at the University of Guelph put on a Variety Night '77 show that showcased performers from different cultures. Pictured here is one of the members of the Guelph Pipe Band.
A concert titled "Music for Soprano, Trumpet, and Organ" was put on at Dublin Street United Church by three Guelph performers who had represented Canada in England in 1975. The three were soloists traveling with the University of Guelph Choir. The trio of performers are Gerald Manning (at organ), Len Hanna (trumpet) and Esther Ewing.
