Collection consists of transcripts of interviews conducted by Christine J.N. Kates with members of the Advocates' Society. The collection consists of interviews with the Honourable John D. Arnup, the Honourable W.D. Griffiths, the Honourable R.E. Holland, Charles McKeon, Barry Pepper, the Honourable R. Reid, and Justice John Sopinka.

Fonds predominantly consists of circulars, letters and brochures sent by A.E. Ames & Co. to its clients, correspondents and salesmen, promoting specific issues of bonds. The bonds were offered by the company for federal, provincial and municipal governments, public utilities, school boards and a number of private corporations. The fonds also includes a few letters and telegrams sent to individual investors concerning particular bond issues. In addition to these circulars, the fonds includes issues of the company's employees newsletter, the Ames Salesman, as well as issues of Investor's Reference and Canadian Investors Manual.

Collection consists of material relating to the professional career of Air Vice Marshal Albert Earl Godfrey. Material consists of: newspaper clippings; biographical sketches; a paper written by AVM Godfrey relating to his experiences in the First World War; a transcript of interview conducted by S.F.Wise, W.A.B. Douglas, R.V. Dodds, F.H. Hatch, and B. Greenhous; records of service; black and white photographs; and other miscellaneous material.

The fonds consists of one ledger compiled by Alexander E. Grant, Woodstock Shoemaker between the years 1905 and 1919.

Fonds consists of Aemilius Irving's records relating to his role as counsel for the Ontario government during disputes with the federal government. Included are: correspondence, notes, drafts, clippings, financial schedules and statements, telegrams, some printed court records, transcripts, evidence collected to support the Ontario position in the arbitration proceedings, typed transcripts of the proceedings of arbitration between Canada and the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, printed copies of court documents, copies of printed government records and publications, and copies of court cases unrelated to the arbitration. Fonds also contains blotter copy letterbooks of Aemilius Irving. Fonds has, for the most part, been kept in its original arrangement, which consisted of the arrangement of records into consecutively numbered packages, with each package containing records relating to a particular subject or court action.

Collection consists of a diary of Flight Sergeant A.E. Martin, covering the period 16 February to 1 June 1943 during which time he was stationed with 14 (F) Squadron on Umnak Island in the Aleutians. His account focuses on the day-to-day experiences of an Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer with abundant personal and contemporary detail. Accompanying the text are black andwhite photographs, many with corresponding negatives and captions. Also includes correspondence between Martin and Captain M.V. Bezeau, a historian at the Directorate of History in Ottawa.

Fonds consists of business records of the A.E. Wicks Ltd. lumber company. It includes a large number of subject files, which contain correspondence, memos, invoices, statements, orders, and advertising. Correspondence in subject files is with suppliers, forest products customers, camp foremen, government officials and departments, and local railways, particularly the Temiskang and Northern Ontario Railway, a carrier frequently used by the company. The files relate to: acquisition and distribution of supplies to camps, management of camps and sawmills, liaison with Federal and Provincial Governments under whose jurisdiction various aspects of the operation fell, cutting and scaling, setting up camps and contracting with foremen, insurance, financial accounting, and other topics. The fonds also includes contracts, accounts, deposit and bank books, shipment and stock ledgers, payroll records, insurance register, and journals containing accounts and daily mill reports.

The collection consists of material collected between the 1950s and mid-1970s by A.E. Williams, relating to the United Indian Bands of the Chippewas and Mississaugans. Most of the fonds was created by or collected on behalf of the United Bands of Ontario between 1903 and 1912 in the course of their efforts by Ontario First Nations to assert their rights on issues of land, hunting, fishing, and voting, and to secure payments promised under treaty commitments. Records pertaining to the United Bands of Ontario consist of correspondence, minutes, legal documents, accounting records, research notes, transcripts of records in the National Archives of Canada and the British Public Record Office. Also included are by-laws, claims for unceded territory, treaties, correspondence, band censuses and genealogies, petitions, speeches, memorials, and broadsides. A few documents contain totem signatures.

Fonds consists of photographs, letters, ephemera, a letters patent of knighthood and artifacts relating to the life of Sir Aemilius Irving. Included are an illuminated address and a wooden box presented to Irving by the benchers of the Law Society of Upper Canada on the occasion of his ninetieth birthday. An engraving of William Osgoode is also included.

Fonds consists of reports detailing the many experiments and developments that took place at the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment and its predecessors from 1946 to 2009. There are 5 series:

The fonds contain files which document the functions of the Aesculapian Society. It includes yearbooks: Aesculapiad ([1950-1958], 1964-1965), student newspapers including: Update (1971-1973), Medition (1977-1981) and the Medical Journal of the University of Ottawa (1956, 1969-1972).

Fonds consists of eight volumes of records containing financial records of the A. F. Jackson farm. These include ledgers (financial records arranged by personal name or product), 1887-1895; and journal containing daily transactions from 1887-1927. Fonds also includes a small amount of loose material, including an invoice and balance sheets.

Fonds consists of records of Affirm and antecedent organizations, 1979-1996; records of National Affirm United, 1987-2010; and records of regional Affirm United and antecedent organizations, 1982-2003.

The fonds serves as a representative sample of the activities carried out, and the relationships engendered, during A.F.W. Plumptre's tenure as principal of Scarborough College from 1965 to 1972. Both official papers and personal documents are included. Official documents include: reports, correspondence, transcripts of speeches, and seating plans. Personal documents include: invitations, cards, photograph albums, clippings, publications, books, and artifacts.

Fonds consists of an article by Major A.G. Sangster, entitled “Some Mechanical Aspects of Exercise ‘Musk-Ox’”. Prepared for The Engineering Journal, the article describes the mechanical experience gained from the non-tactical exercise, which was undertaken by the Canadian Army and the Royal Canadian Air Force from February to May 1946. Discussed are the vehicles used, the operating conditions, the operation of components, as well as the methods of maintenance and repair.

Fonds consists of the records of the Age Friendly Giants project, conducted in 2017 through Age Friendly Thunder Bay and StoryCentre Canada. This project provided a digital storytelling workshop to 10 older adults, with a focus on neighbourhoods, communities, and aging at home. Results of the projects included 10 videos produced by the participants, posters and tip sheets, and several public events.

The records include these videos and handouts, as well as project documentation.

Fonds consists primarily of materials created or collected by Agnes Davidson that document Davidson’s work with young people through camps, bible schools, CGIT and WMS. Records include camp papers, camp activity resources, pamphlets, brochures, notebooks, photographs, correspondence and ephemera. Fonds also consists of correspondence, news paper clippings, programs, and certificates that document Davidson’s involvement with the Presbyterian Young Peoples Society (PYPS) and the Women’s Missionary Society (WMS). Some of the WMS material includes records created or collected by Agnes Davidson’s mother, Mrs. W.B. Davidson. There are also personal mementos and memorabilia.

Fonds consists of photographs taken by Agnes Tennant during the Second World War when she served as a Nursing Matron with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. Includes photographs taken in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Most have no captions. Also includes a copy of her personnel file and 2 post cards.
