Women's Missionary Society Celebrates 100 years

Inter-Church Council Meeting

Pictured here are Isabella Fisher, Scott Keane, and Janey Roberts. Keane was the public relations officer for the ministry of correctional services and was the guest speaker for the Women's Inter-Church Council meeting. The meeting was held at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and was centered around the topic of crime. Fisher was the president of the church's women's department and Roberts was the president of the Inter-Church Council.

St. Andrew's 150th Anniversary Celebration

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church celebrated its 150th anniversary with a meeting and dessert party held by the church women's group. The event drew people in from Knox, Westminster st. Church Bells In Fergus

This photograph shows Cleveland Self showing the system that plays the songs on the church bells at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The bell ringing system played similar to a player piano with rolls for different tunes. Self had taken care of the bells since they were put in in 1963.

Brass Rubbing at Saint John's

This photograph shows an art form being taught at Saint John's Anglican church in Elora. Brass rubbings were made by rubbing wax onto paper over a mold of a figure. This was done with molds of the original "brasses" as to not damage the original artifacts.
