Personal documents and receipts are mainly those of Florence Wilson, as well as her husband Meredith Wilson and his father Thomas Wilson. Most correspondence is addressed to Florence Wilson, including letters from her brother Vernon during World War II and various correspondence relating to Florence Wilson’s genealogical research. Newspaper clippings, some arranged into scrapbooks, are primarily obituaries and wedding announcements of friends and relatives of Florence Wilson, as well as some local news items. The genealogy notes and research documents are accompanied by a number of family histories and scrapbooks compiled by Florence Wilson. A large portion of the fonds consists of family photographs dating back to the 1850s, some originally organized into scrapbooks and albums. Loose photographs have been categorized primarily by family name. Published works include sheet music, song books, children’s books, and bibles. There are also autograph books and day journals belonging to Florence, her sister Hazel Denyes, and her mother-in-law Margaret Wilson.
