The fonds consists of records related to the operations of Loyal Dereham Centre Lodge No. 179, between 1925 and 1934. It is arranged into the following series and subseries:

    Series 3: Correspondence
    Series 4: Membership

The photographs are arranged by subject matter and cover activities in and around the town of Deseronto, Ontario. The majority date from the late nineteenth century and many depict the lumber-related industries of the Rathbun Company in Deseronto. There are also photographs of school groups, churches, railways, First World War airfields and portraits of Deseronto citizens.

Fonds consists of various materials created and collected by donor over the course of growing up, volunteering and working in Port Hope; including material from the Boy Scouts of Canada. Please refer to series, file, and item-level descriptions for more detailed information.

File consists of a DVD including Allan White's "Our Memories: Downtown Port Hope" Oral History Project interview; and a paper copy of the interview transcript, 2013. The interview was edited and uploaded to YouTube with the following description: "Join the Port Hope Archives as we speak to Donna Wootton about local businesses, New Service Cleaners, the 1980 Port Hope flood, and her father, professional Lacrosse player, Lloyd "Moon" Wootton."

Item is a VHS tape of an interview program featuring Dr. Williams discussing Durham County in 1934.

Series consists of information on the former East Durham Historical Society (now Port Hope and District Historical Society) by N. Tom Long, c1980s. It includes: newspaper clippings from the Port Hope Evening Guide; correspondence between Mr. Long and other local historical societies and museums; and pamphlets.

The fonds consists of records related to the East Nissouri Jr. Institute and include minutes as well as miscellaneous items related to their activities.

File consists of an essay written by H. R. S. Ryan on the 100th anniversary of the Baldwin Act. The essay was published in "Ontario History" in 1950 under the title "Echoes from the Minute books: Notes on the proceedings of the Board of police of Port Hope, 1834-1849" pages 184-204. The essay details early history of the town and its residents. Footnotes are given to document sources. It also includes the original transcript of the essay by H. R. S. Ryan.

The fonds consists of some typescript, corrected reports and research papers by Edith Ferguson (1948-1977), as well as published copies of some of them. There are also several volumes dealing with immigrant, integration and multiculturalism issues, novels, and reports from research institutes, government organizations, charitable bodies, and others involved in the immigration and integration fields (1929-1983). There are also some newspaper clippings relating to immigration and multiculturalism in Canada.

Fonds consists of papers and artifacts related to various Port Hope organizations, the Fulford Bros. Dry Goods Store, and the Downtown Revitalization "Norwich Plan," c1907-1975. For more detailed information, please refer to series-level descriptions.

Fonds consists of records related to the Women's Institute based out of Elizabethville (former Hope Township). It includes a hand-written minute book for the branch (1989-2004), and an official Women's Institute handbook (1987).

Fonds consists of textual and graphic material relating to Ellis I. and Fanny Shapiro and their involvement with the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Toronto fundraising campaigns. Included are congratulatory letters and cards, certificates, reports, meeting invites, agendas and minutes, UJWF correspondence and memoranda, a UJWF Women's Service Council constitution (1956), newspaper clippings and six photographs.

The fonds consists mostly of letters written by Fanny Gross to her youngest daughter, Edith. There are also letters written by friends and family to Edith and some letters written by Edith. The letters show that Edith travelled frequently from the Gross family home at 200 Colborne Street West in Whitby to visit relatives and friends in other communities. Subjects of discussion include parties, family, travel, and daily life. Fonds also consists of a copy of The Greatest Thing in The World, An Address by Henry Drummond.
