F.G. Cotter & Co.Fonds consists of eighty seven (87) invoices, cancelled cheques, and receipts pertaining to Irving Margles' clothing store in downtown Port Hope, 1918-1936. Most of the cheques were written to suppliers of Margles' store, including a few related to Port Hope: Port Hope Hydro Electric Commission, Weatherproof Rubber Coat Company, William Currie, International Association of Lions Clubs (Port Hope), Arcade Chain Stores (O. Pattenick, Prop.), W. J. Highfield Victoria Dairy.
Margles, IrvingMaterial contained in the Rexe fonds spans the years 1969 to 2005 with the bulk of material dating from 1979 to 1991. The collection contains materials pertaining to Rexe’s personal and professional matters, including material from his election campaigns beginning in the late 1970s to his work on Peterborough City Council 1980-87 and later 2003-06. The collection contains much correspondence, City Council memoranda and meeting agendas, planning documentation and reports, news clippings, personal notes, PCG reports and studies, court transcripts, legal invoices, and more.
The collection is organized into four series, Series B and C comprising the bulk of the collection.
Series A contains materials related to Rexe’s early teaching years and career(s) before re-entering politics in the 1980s.
Series B contains materials from his years on City Council 1980-87, and is the largest and most extensive part of the collection.
Series C gathers materials pertaining to his legal matters, particularly Kazowski vs. Rexe (see biographical note, below); and finally,
Series D contains materials from his later career(s), including his planning and consulting work (with Public Consulting Group, Inc.), his years teaching at Kenner Collegiate and Crestwood Secondary schools, his graduate work at Trent University, and his return to city politics in the early 2000s.

Fowler, JamesThe fonds documents the activities of James Perrin as a member of the Canadian National Exhibition Association Sports Committee, and his public relations work on behalf of the Canadian National Exhibition's Sports and Agriculture Departments.
The fonds is divided into five series. This arrangement reflects the original order of the records as they were maintained by James Perrin. MG 3-0-1, Sports Committee Files, consists of agendas, minutes, correspondence, questionnaires, registration forms and photographic prints pertaining to the Canadian National Exhibition Association, Power Boat Committee, a sub-committee of the Sports Committee.
Series MG 3-0-2, CNE Publicity Files, consists of correspondence, news releases, and photographic prints documenting the promotion of various CNE events such as Aquarama, Dog Swim, Mayor's Bathtub Derby, Horse Show, Dairy Princess, and the Miss CNE contest by James G. Perrin & Associates.

This fonds consists of John Peirson’s diaries with enclosures, for the years: 1888, 1892-1919, 1921-1925, and 1927. His brief daily journal entries include information related to his family, political life, rural life, personal financial information, social engagements, church meetings, weather and farm operations and activities, including ploughing, sowing and the sale of animals. Mr. Peirson also makes mention of world events, including the sinking of the Titanic and the end of the Great War.
Journals after 1919 each continue to have the name “John Peirson” written on the title page, sometimes with the name of the person who gave the diary to him as a gift; however, most entries in those journals appear to have been written either by John’s daughter-in-law, Catherine (Black) Peirson, and/or his daughter, Mary Ann (Peirson) Hilborn, both of whom were living in houses on the homestead with John. These journals include references to “father” and his health. Other topics include social activities, Women’s Institute meetings, social visits, family life, and some financial information.
Enclosures in the diaries, such as invoices, statements and newspaper clippings, reflect some of the businesses in the community, such as W.A. Gerolamy, grocer; J.W. Chittick Burgoyne General Store; and The Tara Creamery. John Peirson’s involvement with the Burgoyne Cheese Company, and family events reported in the newspaper up to 1937 are also reflected in the enclosures.
Peirson, JohnThis fonds consists of financial records, ships logs and Crown land patents created by and/or belonging to Captain John Spence and his sons, reflecting some of their personal and business dealings.
Spence, John (family)The fonds contains the papers of John S. Turnbull of Belleville, Ontario. Enclosed in the first file is a description of the property of a Mr. Forrin; a notice instructing Mr. Turnbull to pay Mr. James Anderson eleven pounds, ten shillings by Mr. James Turnbull; and a description of the west side of Front Street. The second file consists of items relating to Turnbull's estate including a list of properties he owned, a list of personal effects, the last will and testament of Margaret Campbell, the first and final wills of John Turnbull, and documents pertaining to a dispute over his estate by his family after his death, there is also a map of mineral reserves in Marmora. The third file is composed of various real estate contracts, the fourth file consists of real estate deeds, while the fifth file is made up of real estate leases.

McKerral, Leslie (Les) JohnA mix of catalogues showcasing locks and associated building hardware for all the companies involved, but focusing on Corbin. Box of files includes inter company correspondence, newspaper clippings, log books, photographs and shares. A number of other books include a job book for cylinder keys, manufacturing order books and department specific log books. Two awards are also included, 1 for the efforts of a flood control team in 1981 and 1 safety award received in 1960. The fonds also includes a plastic Corbin sign and a key made at the plant.
