The fonds consists of documents that were used by Isabel Campbell for her research for her book, Unlikely Diplomats. The Canadian Brigade in Germany, 1951-64. The majority of the files are duplicates from numerous archives and government departments, books and articles. There are 11 series:

The fonds consist of three technical drawings entitled: “Motor and Generator Demonstration,” “Proposed Improvement on MK. VII, VII* etc. D/C [Depth Charge] Pistol Adjuster,” and “Depth Charge Pistol Adjuster.” There is also a letter on HMCS Algonquin’s naming and make, and a second letter addressed to the Superintendent Naval Armament depot, HMC Dockyard in Halifax N.S. explaining the D/C [Depth Charge] pistol adjuster’s use on the Mark VII to Mark X. The last page, “Op. Nep. [Operation Neptune]” is a report summarizing the events on the beaches from east to west in Normandy.

Collection consists of publications and files collected by Fred J. Mifflin. Includes speeches by the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff for 1979-1981, federal government discussion papers regarding a new national industrial development policy and Canadian participation in the Multi-National Force in the Sinai in 1981, the history of operational research in the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), North-South relations, and Canadian maritime strategy. The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by subject group.

Collection consists of materials documenting the activities of the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1946 to the 1960s. It mostly includes documents on Home War Establishment, Overseas War Establishment, Post Second World War Establishment and other units the RCAF, National Defence and the United States military. Collection consists of a collection of documents from the former Royal Canadian Army Service Corps Museum. Includes the Corps orders for 1905 to 1926, minute books for the RCASC Bus Service Committee and the Canteen Committee, and the RCASC Association proceedings for 1938. There are three series:

Collection consists of reports, commentary, correspondence and clippings as well as the Proceedings of the Senate Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs regarding alleged distortions and inaccuracies in the controversial CBC historical drama "The Valour and the Horror."

Fonds consists of material related to the published work "Normandy 1944. The Canadian Summer." Includes the English manuscript, the first and second French translations, the illustrations with some French captions, a mockup of the final book, in English, and several maps. Also includes a map (2012/12) of the first day of the invasion of Normandy with an overlay containing information regarding the Allied advance at Sword, Gold, and Juno Beaches as well as the German defence.

Fonds consists of the original English manuscript, French translation, the French translation with corrections, and English and French galley proofs, as well as illustrations, both English and French captions, mockups and various materials used in the production of the book "Canada and the battle of Vimy Ridge, 9-12 April 1917". Also includes an extensive collection of related photographs not selected for the book.

This collection consists of audio visual materials collected by the Guelph Public Library archives. These records cover a wide range of topics covering various aspects of the City of Guelph and its history. Included are materials created by Edward Johnson, the Guelph Light Opera Company, the Guelph Youth Orchestra, and Tamarack. Fonds also contains Roger's television episodes, the unveiling and dedication of a sculpture commemorating John Galt, the histories of Eden Mills, St. Joseph's Hospital, and Guelph's covered bridge.

This collection consists of correspondence, books, articles, pamphlets, photographs and clippings collected by R.P. (Dick) Brimmell that document a range of events and subjects in the history of Guelph. Included are files on the 11th field regiment, Italian-Canadians in Guelph, material collected in Mr. Brimmell's capacity as a newspaper columnist, the Guelph Civic Arts Centre construction, the 16th battery, public schooling in Guelph, and the City's coat of arms.

These records also contain an assortment of administrative and executive records from a variety of clubs and organizations in which Mr. Brimmell participated. These include the Guelph Cricket Club, the Guelph Pipe Band, the Guelph Wellington Men's Club, and the Guelph Community Boating Club.

The photographs in this collection include aerial photographs of Guelph, pictures of homes, construction projects, military exercises and events and local landmarks and personalities.

Records are arranged by subject.

This collection consists of photographs collected by the Guelph Public Library archives. The photographs are primarily studio portraits of unidentified persons mounted to cards of various sizes. Some of these photographs are full length portraits while others are only of an individual’s head and shoulders.

The photographs are examples of works by local photographers including Burgess and Son, P. Dobereiner, and W. Marshall. The cards include information pertaining to the photographer such as his address. On the reverse of some of the cards are unique designs likely used as a form of advertisement.

There is no further arrangement to these photographs.
