Fonds consists of various papers created and collected by the family and descendants of Nathan Choate, 1817-1975. It documents the history of members of the family, as well as local buildings, churches, businesses, and the history of the Municipality of Port Hope.
Choate (family)The collection contains 18 photos of some of the town’s landmarks and businesses, in the early 1960s and 1970s. It also includes three pictures of the Garnett family.
Garnett, KellyThe collection contains 19 audiovisual documents about various aspects of the area. Some of these documents relate to Nord-Aski’s involvement in the region, while others concern economic development issues or promote the area’s businesses and attractions. Audiocassettes have all been converted to DVD format.

Northern Ontario BusinessThe fonds consists of annual reports of the Consumers' Gas Company (1849-1925) [incomplete], minutes of the Board of Directors' meetings (1947-1925), minutes of special Board meetings, taken from the secretary's and president's notes and agendas; minutes of the Finance Committee (1852-1874), of the Works Committee (1853-1873), and of selected meetings of the Executive Committee (1805-1909). As well, there is a run of 'Street lamps' [publication] (1887-1906).
Consumers' Gas CompanyThe fonds consists of two wage record books compiled by C.P. Harrison, Cabinet Maker between 1889 and 1894.
Harrison, Charles PooleThe fonds consists of operational and commemorative records related to Cullen Gardens and Miniature Village. Many operational records were created as Leonard Cullen and other staff developed and advertised the organization's site in Whitby, Ontario. Commemorative records preserve views of the site's grounds, seasonal displays, building interiors, and events. Additionally, the fonds contains some personal records from Leonard Cullen, most of which pertain to his involvement in the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec and the Baptist Leadership Education Centre in Whitby. The fonds consists of four series: Site Maintenance and Expansion; Personal Writings and Baptist Community Involvement of Leonard Cullen; Promotions; and Photographs.
Cullen Gardens Inc.The fonds documents D. McCormack Smyth's career as an administrator both in private corporation and in academic institutions as well as his teaching activities in administration for the period 1947-1986.

Daly HouseThe photographs are arranged by subject matter and cover activities in and around the town of Deseronto, Ontario. The majority date from the late nineteenth century and many depict the lumber-related industries of the Rathbun Company in Deseronto. There are also photographs of school groups, churches, railways, First World War airfields and portraits of Deseronto citizens.
Photographs of Deseronto, Ontario dating from the 1970s to 2011, depicting a variety of Town events. They include a set of aerial photographs of the town from the 1980s; the interior of the former Home Hardware store in the Baker Block on Main Street; the O’Connor House on Main Street before its demolition; the 1989 100th Anniversary celebrations, photographs of Centennial Park and Rathbun Memorial Park; the opening of the Deseronto Public Library in its 358 Main Street location in 2001; the Ontario Provincial Police handover ceremony in 2001; an Easter Parade from the early 2000s; a Santa Parade; the 2002 New Year’s Levee; and the 2010 Olympic Flame run in Deseronto.
Most of the photographs appear to have been taken by Town staff. One envelope was donated to the Town by Irene Usher and contains photographs taken by her late husband, Tom.
This series consists of committee reports by the Religious Education Program’s committees, of constitutions for the Sisters’ Council, of correspondence to and from the Sisters’ Council, of two newsclippings, and one agenda with hymns and prayers, and correspondence related to the Diocese of London’s 150th anniversary, of the treasurer’s report presented to the Sisters’ Council, of a study on the use of Chapels of Reservation, of membership lists for the Sisters’ Council, of newsletters created by the Council as well as by the Sisters’ Committee of the Essex Deanery, of questionnaires and correspondence related to the planning of the Study Days planned by the Sisters’ Council, and of the minutes, agendas, and surveys and questionnaires to aid event planning during the Sisters’ Council’s meetings.
Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada (London, Ont.)The fonds consists of two financial ledgers compiled by D.K. Perry, of Innerkip, between the years 1868-1872 and a third book compiled between the years 1902-1918. Daniel K. Perry operated a hotel in the village from 1871-1873 and was also noted as operating the general store owned by James H. Hill.

Tapscott, DonThis fonds consists of 3 day books created by Donald Cameron within his occupation as storekeeper of a General Store first in Underwood and by September 1893 in Hepworth, Bruce County, Ontario. The day books cover the following time periods: 1886-1890, 1890-1893, and 1897-1899.
Cameron, DonaldThe series contains records documenting the various activities of the London Donations Committee. These include charitable donations in Canada and abroad, educational bursaries given predominantly to community members in London and southwestern Ontario, as well as donor awards and recognitions received by the Sisters of St. Joseph. Records include administrative correspondence, annual reports, newsletters, press clippings, a magazine, photographs, certificates, and a plaque.
