Series contains records regarding the parish life of St. Jude's, Mount Brydges during its years of operation from 1886 to 2022, though material is limited.
Series contains the general administrative records of the various women's groups that formed at St. Jude's, Mount Brydges throughout its years of operation. There are five files under administration, and two subseries.
Series contains the records pertaining to the women's group of of St. Jude's, Mount Brydges and their participation in the West Middlesex Deanery meetings from 1956 to 1964.
Series comprises notebooks and sketchbooks used and kept by Betty Goodwin. The volumes may contain sketches and drawings, notes on artistic learning and practice, diaristic writing, personal reflections, travel journaling, and memoranda (such as addresses and upcoming dates). Specific contents vary over time and according to the character of a particular volume. Goodwin typically maintained more than one notebook at the same time, so that the dates of individual volumes tend to overlap significantly.
This series consists of video cassettes documenting Betty Goodwin’s collaboration with Montreal dancer/choreographer Paul-Andre Fortier and Fortier danse-création on La Tentation de la Transparence (1992) and Bras de Plomb (1994), parts two and three of Paul-Andre Fortier’s solo trilogy. It also includes working drawings of the costume Betty Goodwin designed for Fortier for his performance of Bras de Plomb, as well as videos documenting some of Fortier’s earlier dance performances and the dress rehearsal of Collisions by Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, on which Betty Goodwin also collaborated.
This series contains photographic documentation of Betty Goodwin’s artworks by professional photographers such as Richard Max Tremblay, Brian Merrett and Paul Litherland. It also includes a series of colour photographs presumably taken by Betty Goodwin or a studio assistant of her work, often times in the studio and in some cases, during the process of making a particular piece of work.
This series contains numerous awards and honoraria Betty Goodwin received during her career as a visual artist, including the Order of Canada, the Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts, and Les Prix du Paul-Emile Borduas, and honourary doctoral degrees from University of Montreal, University of Guelph and University of Windsor.
Series consists of working notes and sketches by Betty Goodwin, similar to the content of her notebooks. Many of these items are actually pages removed from her notebooks. Series includes a floor plan of 4005 Mentana.
Series consists of a selection of items (found objects and constructed objects) taken from Betty Goodwin’s studio. Items are significant for their inspirational qualities for the artist. Typically, they would have been placed deliberately on surfaces and shelves in the studio, often adjacent to similar or related objects.
