No. 309 in recognition of his many valuable services to the Association and as a token of the high esteem in which he is held by his brethren." Signed Noel W. Series consists of fourteen (14) 8mm film reels taken by John "Jack" Austin on a Kodak Brownie Movie Camera Turret f/1.9, 1960-1964. It includes footage of family Christmas (several years), the Austin family home at 27 Trefusis Street, Fred Austin's Cottages at Keane (Rice Lake), Edgar Eley's Holstein Farm, Calithumpian parades, the last steam train out of Port Hope, the marriage of Shirley Eley to Robert Payne at Port Hope United Church, and various family vacations (i.e. Ottawa, 1000 Islands, Santa's Village, Vermont, Maine, New Brunswick, Healey Falls, Lovesick Lake, Niagara Falls, and Algonquin Park). Most of the footage includes John and Lorna and their sons, Larry and Don. For more detail on each individual reel, please refer to the box list.

Item is a Kodak Brownie Movie Camera Turret f/1.9, c1960. It was used to record the Austin family film reels (see 2015.34.6). The camera also includes the original Kodak carrying case, two (2) empty film containers, a compass, and the original manuals.
Zonder titelFile consists of six (6) printing blocks and one (1) small shipping box, 1965. The printing blocks were produced by Geo. Wilson and Sons (Guide Printing) for Austin Cottages, Shanty Shore, Rice Lake, Keene, Ontario. The blocks contain two (2) maps, and several images of cottages and activities tourists could enjoy at Austin's Cottages; all were used to produce tourism pamphlets for the business. The blocks were originally shipped in the small card board box addressed to: Mr. C. Vardy, Geo. Wilson and Sons, 118 Walton Street, Port Hope, Ontario. The rental cottages were owned by Fred and Hazel Austin of 11 Bloomsgrove Avenue, Port Hope.
