Part of Kanadský slovenský podporný spolok, Odbor 43

Súbor pozostáva z jedného viazaného, ručne písaného zväzku zápisníc zo zasadnutí Odboru č. 43 Kanadského slovenského podporného spolku (KSPS). Zápisnice stručne popisujú bežnú činnosť Odboru č. 43 vrátane vyberania poplatkov a peňažných darov v prospech KSPS, diskusií a hlasovaní, ktorým z uchádzačov o finančnú pomoc bude táto poskytnutá, ktorých z chorých členov je nutné navštíviť alebo obdariť kvetmi, ako aj plánovania zbierkových podujatí, napríklad banketov, tancovačiek, búrz, silvestrovských zábav, fašiangových zábav, piknikov a koncertov. Zápisnice ďalej popisujú „voľné diskusie“ počas schôdzí, v ktorých mohli členovia prispievať nápadmi a informovať o dianí v ostatných odboroch KSPS a o všetkom, čo sa dialo v Slovenskom národnom dome v Sudbury. Ďalšie zmienené udalosti zahŕňajú výročný Zjazd Kanadského slovenského podporného spolku; súdnu žalobu Odboru č. 8 KSPS proti Odboru č. 43, podľa ktorej členovia ich skupiny, ktorí prestúpili do Odboru č. 43, odcudzili ich majetok (odbory napokon vyriešili spor mimosúdnou cestou); vystúpenia hosťujúcich rečníkov vrátane hlavného pokladníka, brata Masťana z timminského odboru ohľadne jednoty a spolupráce s Odborom č. 43 KSPS (dňa 15. novembra 1953) a odhlasovanie nového Výkonného výboru na ďalší rok, ktorý pozostával z predsedu, tajomníka, pokladníka a Zábavného výboru.
