Aylmer Women's InstituteThe Barbara Dunphy fonds consists of audiotaped interviews of wives of miners from the Kirkland Lake area, and a few accompanying notes on the project. The interviews were done with the intention of producing a film, which did not get off the ground due to funding problems. Among the interviewees are: Myrtle MacLeod, Clara Golden, Kay Carlin, Anna Welyhorsky, Georgina Lebine, Mrs. Allison Mills, and Carol Magnusen.
Dunphy, BarbaraThe fonds consists of material that documents Godard's professorial career and includes thesis advisory files, general correspondence, letters of recommendation, lecture notes, conference material, minutes and reports related to various departments and committees that she was involved with and additional material related to her work with the Canadian Federation of Humanities and to her work as editor of the "Bibliography of feminist criticism," "Gynocritics" among other publications. It also includes notes and drafts of her own writing including her undergraduate and graduate research, articles, book reviews, conference papers, drafts of her translations and a collection of chap books and broadsheets accumulated over the course of her career.
Godard, Barbara, 1941-2010This fonds consists of one scrapbook relating to the public life of Barbara Hanley. The scrapbook contains correspondence, telegrams, pictures, an article, and newspaper clippings. The correspondence, telegrams, and newspaper clippings primarily concern Barbara Hanley’s election as Mayor of Webbwood. The pictures consist of two photographs of Hanley and one group photograph. The article was written by Hanley on the subject of civic responsibility for a secondary school magazine. The newspaper clippings are from local and national papers.
