• Journal/ diary of day to day activities and weather conditins on the farm by Shuter Nimrod Haskill, from May 20, 1924 - Apr. 24, 1936. - on the upper line of each page is the date and "Brought Forward" amount. - each page is divided into columns indicating (r to l) Day and number, activities, debits, credits. - the journal consists of 504 pages, the number is stamped in upper corner of each page. - entries continue onto the inside back cover. - dairy farming ("self took milk down " and crops appear to be the primary farming activities of this generation - speaks of getting the car repaired

This journal belonged to Shuter Nimrod Haskill and includes a variety of information, the date of the first entry is April 1, 1871 and the last recorded date is June 5, 1920. It includes; 1) a diary of day to day activities on the farm Sept. 8 1899 - pgs. 4 - 14 2) a "diary for 1876", which has been written by another individual, mostly a family member, includes details on the weather pgs. 15 - 24 3) Account of cash paid and rec'd 4) Beef Ring details 1916 - 1919 5) Supplies for the house, product and price 6) a list of items "Bought for for Hilda Littlejohn"

Item is a Journal / ledger of the day to day activities on the farm and financial information from Jan. 1, 1910 - Aug. 21, 1910 belonging to Shuter Nimrod Haskill. - - - -Across the top of each page is the date by month and number and "Amount Brought Forward" with a dollar amount. 2 columns on the right hand side indicate the credits and payments made, the centre section indicates weather conditions and the tasks that were completed that day, Two columns on the left side indicate the date by day and number, two columns on the right side indicate the debits and credits in dollars. - there are several loose inserts in the back of the book.
