Fonds consists of the records of the Governor Simcoe (Toronto) Branch of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada, 1897-1980. Fonds includes: the Branch's general correspondence, 1933-1980; by-laws and constitution, 1897-1969; executive, monthly and annual meeting minutes, 1934-1980; and annual reports, 1934-1980. The fonds also contains membership lists, 1914-1977, and cashbooks, 1942-1950, 1965-1971. Also included are notices and programmes, 1934-1974, newsletters, 1974-1980, and a visitors' book, 1934-1954. Fonds further consists of newspaper clippings, 1966-1975, copies of the Loyalists Gazette, 1966-1979, and scrapbooks, 1932-1942. In addition, fonds contains correspondence, membership lists, newsletters and meetings minutes from various other branches of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada. Branches represented include: the Dominion Council, Saskatchewan, St. Catharines, Winnipeg, and Victoria.
