The fonds consists of records and photographs largely related to the building and occupation of Burnside Farm, the family farm at Lot D, Concession 11, Aldborough Township, Elgin County. It includes a diary of the building of the house at the farm, kept by Jeannie Wilson Watson (later Schleihauf), a photograph album also kept by Mrs. Schleihauf, a disparate group of unbound photographs and genealogical materials created by several family members. The fonds has been arranged into the following series, largely following its divisions at the time of accessioning: 1. Photographs, 1894-1939 2. Burnside Farm, 1901-1903 3. Genealogy, 1935-2002
