Canada. Royal Canadian Air Force. Group, No. 11No. 11 Wing (Auxiliary) Headquarters was authorized as RCAF (Reserve) Wing Montreal on 1 October 1950. Its functions were performed by No. 1 Group (Auxiliary) until 15 April 1957, when that headquarters was disbanded, and subsequently by Air Defence Command staff. No. 11 Wing was formed on 1 September 1961. Its main function was to administer and control No. 401 and N. 438 Squadrons. On 1 February 1968, it was integrated into the Canadian Armed Forces as No. 11 Air Reserve Wing.

On 1 July 1951, it was re-designated No. 12 Air Defence Group and was reassigned to Air Defence Command. On 1 July 1951, it was re-designated No. 5 Air Division and was transferred to Maritime Air Command (Pacific) on 15 October 1962. The Group was disbanded one year later, 31 December 1963.
