Item is a poster showing items and prices for Ben Olver & Co. Men's Ware, Port Hope. Flyer lists items and prices for Ben Oliver & Co. Men's Ware in Port Hope. The store also carried clothing for boys. Flyer addressed to "Mr. A. N. Ball Wesleyville", postmarked Port Hope 1914.

Item is a Printer's Proof of the Bible Christian Preacher's Plan, 1883-1884. Notes indicate 150 copies were needed for October 25, 1883. Schedule shows locations, preachers, times and dates. Dr. J. S. Ceaser Veterinarian Invoice

Item is a handwritten invoice for Mr. Albt. Ball, dated June 9th 1873 for services from Dr. J. S. Ceaser, V.S. Invoice shows services and costs. The invoice includes services from 1872. Albert Ball lived in Hope Township.

Elizabethville Methodist Church Anniversary Service

Item is a printer's proof of poster for the Elizabethville Methodist Church anniversary services. Services were held Sunday December 30th, 1883 and Tuesday January 1, 1884. Sunday service preached by Rev. D. N. McCamus of Bethany. January 1, 1884. Supper in church basement, followed by addresses by Revs. McCamus, Taylor, Thompson, J. Barlwell. Handwritten comments at bottom "50 - December 22/83."

Poster for the Harvest Home Festival for the Bible Christian Church, Welcome for Wednesday, October 3rd, 1883. Tea Meeting followed by an address by Rev. E. Roberts of Toronto.

Item is a Printer's proof of poster for the tea-meeting held at the Presbyterian church in Knoxville on Wednesday November 14, 1883. Notes written at bottom in ink "75 copies, Nov 1st 1883." Addresses by Revs. R. J. Beattie, Port Hope, D. L. McCrea, Cobourg. Readings by Miss Thompson, Perrytown and Miss Dodds, Port Hope.

Letter from A. P. Rice

Item is a handwritten letter discussing a large number of deaths and the procession in Toronto. Letter is dated July 5, 1866. The author of the letter is A. P. Rice, writing from B. A. Cottage, Toronto, C. W. and speaks also of his studies in Toronto. References in letter are made to "F. Little" and "Elijah" (believed to be Elijah Rice 1843-1920).

"Picturesque Port Hope" Booklet

Item is a copy of the publication "Picturesque Port Hope," c. 1910. "Dickenson 28 Inniswood Drive" written on front, and signed "H. Reeve" on back. Believed to have belonged to the Dickenson family and given to Mr. Reeve.
